Two criteria decided by the same evidence: one inside a broader one, a negative mirroring a positive, or a subjective criterion restating an objective value.
Do this instead
Keep one, the broader where one swallows the other. A subjective restatement keeps only its presentation property, or goes.

What is wrongCriterion 9 checks that the two inspection maps are off the dailies index. Criterion 2 already requires the index to list only four files, neither map among them.
In years_in_review.html, the dailies index lists only these four files as dailies: 2026-02_export_0224.svg, 2026-03_frame_0305.svg, 2026-04_frame_0416.png, 2026-06_export_0611.svg.
How it breaks the standardThe four files criterion 2 names leave out both inspection maps, so an index that passes criterion 2 passes criterion 9. Keeping the maps off the index is worth weight 10 across two rows, and an index that keeps one map loses both. The golden passes both, so nothing flags it; the duplicate costs points.
Criterion that is either completely redundant because other criteria completely encompass the former or multiple criteria that check for the same thing partly. This can also apply to criteria which have direct semantic overlap with oppositely weighted criteria.
A deterministic value check placed in the subjective block, or a presentation judgment placed in the objective block. Count each misplaced criterion. The fix is to move it, never to duplicate it across both blocks.
A subjective restatement of an objective value is this.
Why it matters
Redundant criteria double weight one outcome, so a single slip costs the run twice. A subjective block that repeats objective values also stops doing its own job, which is grading how the artifact reads and looks.

Nadine wants a year-in-review of the dailies for the desk... not a recap from my head. The exports are in this drop, named by month(2026-02...and so on); desk_review_notes.md is how I usually sort what actually ran. Build years_in_review.html from those files: what ran, what it was about, which chart types we reached for, and which pieces still carry a correction. Mark each one read or confirmed. I need the counts on the page to click through to the files behind them.
Leg A turn 2
The map exports are in this drop. Fold them into year_in_review.html; do not rebuild the index from scratch.
Leg A turn 3
Nadine looked at it. Some of this belongs with the inspection project, not on the dailies index. Separate that out and recount. Keep year_in_review.html.
Leg A turn 4
Can you check the confirmed marks against the actual sign-off threads? I don't want a stray "got it" sitting on the wrong piece. Same file.
